Il Giardino degli Inutili

Che vi devo dire?
Stasera ascolto questo pezzo e penso a una ragazza.
Le note mi portano lontano: spegno la luce, mi stiracchio sulla sedia con le mani incrociate dietro la nuca, e lascio che la mia mente si rilassi, al ricordo di lei che mi sorride.
Mi verrebbe da accendere una sigaretta, ma sto cercando di smettere. Oddio, ci sono quasi riuscito, con qualche piccola, trascurabile, perdonabile eccezione da smipatico scapestrato quale sono. Sapete, è che non fa bene alla salute, e mi sa che è proprio il caso che  cominci a prendermi un po' più cura di me.
"Happiness is me and you"... suona come la più retorica delle dichiarazioni d'amore, da adolescente fesso che ancora non ha capito un accidente. Ma  forse... chissa? Forse è proprio così: la serenità è un premio arduo, un traguardo difficile, che solo i caparbi e orgogliosi perdenti pensano di conquistare da soli.
Per quanto mi riguarda, preferisco godermi la serata, alzare un po' il volume, e sorridere, pensando che alla fine forse si diventa tutti un po' fregnoni...
...ma chissenefrega!
